SIPRelay® is a free service enabling deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals to place and receive text-based relay calls from their personal computer (PC) and/or mobile device to and from any standard telephone user in the US and its territories. A Sorenson Communications Assistant (CA) contacts the standard telephone user and voices the text messages in real-time from the SIPRelay user. All you need to use SIPRelay is a PC with an Internet connection, or a mobile device with either AOL Instant Messenger™ (AIM®) or SIPRelay Mobile for BlackBerry®.
Hearing users can place calls to deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals by dialing their 10-digit local or toll-free number—the call will connect to the CA and deaf recipient automatically.

Real Numbers: SIPRelay users are assigned a local 10-digit number, with the option of also receiving a toll-free number. Calls through these numbers can be sent to either an AIM account (on a PC or a mobile device with AIM) or to a BlackBerry using SIPRelay Mobile for BlackBerry.
SIPRelay Mobile for BlackBerry: SIPRelay Mobile for BlackBerry provides a direct connection to Sorenson Communications CAs and works with your BlackBerry contact list. It's the most convenient way to relay when you are on-the-go.
No more "GA" or "SK" commands: SIPRelay is a time-saving service that allows users to instantly communicate without using "Go Ahead" (GA) or "Stop Keying" (SK) commands to complete sentences and calls. The user simply uses the "Enter" key at their discretion and a Sorenson CA will relay the conversation.
Works with any PC Internet connection: A dial-up or high-speed Internet connection is all that you need to place a SIPRelay call on your PC using www.siprelay.com.
Works with AIM on PCs or compatible mobile devices: Simply add 'siprelay' to your AIM buddy list.
