AOL Instant Messenger is not installed on your BlackBerry mobile device. It requires a 3rd party download. There are two suggested applications to use; Ramble Instant Messenger (Ramble IM) or VeriChat.
Ramble Instant Messenger: Ramble IM is free of charge. It is highly recommended.
VeriChat: VeriChat must be purchased (online) for $24.95 for the first year, $19.95 every year thereafter. (A free trial for VeriChat is available. It is strongly encouraged that you beta test VeriChat before purchasing.) If you decide to use VeriChat, Sorenson will not cover costs. You may purchase at your own free will.
